Adding fitness to the program

My life is all about the program right now.  Because, quite frankly, Weight Watchers is a program that I feel I can live with.  It gives real-life strategies for real-life people.

One of the things that I note quite often in any health / fitness program, is that the cost of said program factors in heavily when deciding to stick with it.  I could not imagine trying to lose weight on Jenny Craig or Nutrisystem.  Why?  Well, because for me, it’s not realistic to think that I will spend $250-300 a month on food just for myself.  Especially since there are 4 other people in the family.

So, I enjoy Weight Watchers, because there is no required food to buy or vitamins.  You simply attend the meetings for support and follow the program.

In the spirit of following the program, I have recently added fitness to my routine.  I added bike riding to my routine.  Just call me chubby girl on a bike. ;)

I enjoy bike riding.  What’s more, husb and the kids get something out of it as well.  We do it as a family and it feels right in doing it that way.

So far, i’ve lost 8 pounds by moderately following the program (by moderately, I mean i’ve had realistic slip ups here and there.).  So now, i’m going to moderately follow the program and add fitness in and see what my results will be!
