I'm so glad that I'm reading this post now and I hope that I can offer some bit of advice.

Breathe. :)

You know your body - or at least you're getting to know your body. If you followed the healthy guidelines and you watched your points, you *did* lose weight. Maybe it's not showing on the scale this week and that is okay. It could be because a) you actually gained more than 3 pounds last week but for some reason weighed a bit lighter b) you ate more sodium and are retaining fluids c) you're weighing a bit heavier this week for some reason.

The scale doesn't omit the hard work that you did.

As a last note, I had issues (even with WW) when most of my points came from carbs. I know...it should be just about calories and points, but for some reason when I ate heavy carb loads, I just didn't do well - even if I stayed in my points range.

You can do this. I know you can.

Hang in there.

I love taking my frustration out at the gym. This route is safer for other folks too and it burns the ol' calories. ;)

Oh, girl I'm sorry about the gain. It could very well be water or stress or BOTH. I've gained this month and it SUCKS big time. I actually went down two pounds this morning so I think in my case it was stress & sodium intake. Have you been watching the sodium you're consuming?

Just don't raid the fridge. Don't even think about. You'll feel worse if you do. I like your idea of working it out at the gym. You'll be fine. You are SO CLOSE to being under 300 I can feel it!!!! :)

Yes to the drinking more water -- I slacked off and picked up some weight and then restarted pushing water and already some of the weight has come off. How's your sodium intake?

Hitting the treadmill/elliptical is good therapy. I use my treadmill for a psychiatrist! :-)

The weight thing will sort itself out -- there's no POSSIBLE way that you gained that much real weight in so short a time.
