I weighed myself today and found that I was another pound down! YAY! I realize that I have lost weight rather slowly this month, but in the end I think it’s the turtle who will win this race. And I am proud to be that turtle!
Things are settling down as much as possible. I went grocery shopping yesterday and stocked our fridge full of yummy and healthy things. My husband is happy to see me back on track. I am happy to be back on track.
My exercise this week has come from going up and down the stairs, cleaning, painting, unpacking and laundry. Not to mention working outside in the yard to help prepare it for growing season. The settling in stage is giving me a lot of reasons to move around. As soon as we are all settled I will set up my workout routine which will include going for long power walks around the neighborhood (Houston we have sidewalks!).
How are things going for you guys this week?
I’m proud to be the turtle too! Congrats on the weight loss! You know it may not seem like it, but incidental exercise adds up pretty quickly. Keep on going girl, you’re doing great!

Congratulations! I know exactly how you feel. I got very off track for a couple of months but I’ve been back on for a couple of weeks and it feels amazing. Good luck with everything!! I love your blog!

Congrats on the pound down!
I’ve been so swamped this week at work and everything I’ve gotten a little lax with my gym workouts and *some* eating. I’m back in the saddle now though!
P.S. Thank you for the nice things you’ve said on my blog. It really means a lot!

You are right, it’s not about how fast we lose this weight, it’s about losing weight. Keep it up girly, you are on the right track!
