Vacationing in the beautiful Upper Peninsula region of Michigan reminds me of the time we visited our cousins in their Outer Banks homes in North Carolina. We had such a splendid time that we were thinking about moving down their when we retire. Our other thoughts were it wasn’t for the harsh winters of the Upper Peninsula, we would most certainly be living here full time.
