Diet pills — do you?

I don’t think I could ever do a diet pill review. I just don’t take them. I have in the past. But I found the side affects to be too much for me (anxious and nervous energy… lethargy… etc.). And i’m not altogether convinced that they are 100% safe.

I truly reserve judgment though. Everyone does what works for them. I mean, who doesn’t wish that there was a lightening fast way to lose weight and keep it off? When I was younger I used to wish that they would invent a special machine. With this machine, I could walk into it and come out magically 30 or 40 pounds lighter.

I haven’t even considered taking the “Jillian Michaels” approved line of dietary supplements and weight-loss kick-starters.

Supplements — do you or don’t you?

My aunt has a friend who sells Juice Plus. From what I have heard (reading reviews and talking to my aunt and her friends who have used the product) it is one of the best vitamin supplements out there.

I tried the knock-off product that you can get from Sam’s Club called Juice Festiv. The ingredients are all natural — everything is extracted from vegetables and fruits. Also, you can actually pronounce everything on the ingredients menu. Two things I experienced: 1) I had an insane amount of energy but wasn’t sure if I was *supposed* to feel that way. 2) I had a little bit of heartburn a few times because a couple of the powder caplets broke on the way down to my stomach.

Do you take supplements? Do they work for you? Have you taken Juice Plus or Juice Festiv? What did you think?
